LAVA required a general-purpose brochure that showcased a brief glimpse of their mainline products and accessories, the technology behind them, various power options, and a way to quickly contact the company for further information. This brochure would be primarily distributed at Trade Shows and used for networking.
The design restrictions placed were as follows: the brochure needed to be printed on A4 (8.3" x 11.7") paper, the colour scheme needs to be primarily white (#FFF), and there had to be a QR code on the final page for customers to scan.
I decided on making a double folded brochure as it gives 4 pages to informative material, and 2 pages for a cover and contact section.
The main challenge was formatting the dense volume of information provided into the brochure without having it look crowded. Discussion with the company's Copywriter was necessary to trim down the copy to a comfortable level.
The line graphics at the top and bottom of the brochure was put in place as an answer to the marketing team's request to expedite the manual brochure-folding process, as the company did not have access to a printer that automatically folded brochures at the time this brochure was created.
Created using the company's copy of CorelDRAW X6
